Stainless Steel Half Merchant Threaded Coupling Features:
1. Shape: Threaded Pipe Fitting (Female x Female );
2. Made of stainless steel 304, the lower carbon content for greater resistance to corrosion;

Full merchant couplings are available in black, galvanized, and stainless steel materials. Full merchant couplings are used when a stronger coupling fitting is needed. For example, you can use a full merchant coupling in a drop pipe that’s in a water well because it would be holding the weight of the pipe, water, and the submersible pump. If an even stronger coupling is required, there are drop pipe couplings available that are specific for these applications. And half merchant couplings are half the size.
